TRUNK OR TREAT Has Moved Downtown

Last year Mississippi’s Toughest Kids Foundation held it’s first Trunk or Treat event at Lake Chautauqua with almost 1200 attending. Everyone had a great time but there was some concern for the safety of people that had to parked across the highway from the park. We are excited to announce that this year we are moving from Lake Chautauqua to Downtown Crystal Springs. It will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2011.

The new Front Street location will make it possible for many more cars, trucks, trailors, wagons, etc. to participate. Who can participate…businesses, clubs, churches, families, individuals, just about anyone. Exciting prizes are being lined up to reward winners in several new categories.

To enter you will need to call 601-892-1117, 601-750-3457, or if you like you can email us at mstoughkids@yahoo.com. Be creative, decorate you entrée and even yourself, then fill the trunk with wrapped candy to pass out to the children. We are also asking for a $10 entrée fee.

We are hoping that many, many people will join together to make this year’s Trunk or Treat another fun-filled evening for families in our area. This will be a fund raiser for Mississippi’s Toughest Kids Foundation…building a camp facility for kids (and adults) with special needs.
